A Reaver takes aim in a new photo from the upcoming Wolverine sequel, Logan
As it has been doing all week, the Logan movie Instagram has just posted another black and white image from the set of the upcoming Wolverine sequel. This one reveals a first look at one of the film’s Reaver characters who, Marvel fans will recall, have been a thorn in the side of mutants since their debut back in 1988’s “Uncanny X-Men” #229. A gang of mercenaries, the Reavers in the comics have been fitted with all sorts of cybernetic upgrades, making them particularly deadly foes. Check out the new shot in the gallery viewer below and check back soon for the trailer. It has already been classified by the MPAA, so its official debut should be imminent.

Starring Hugh Jackman and Sir Patrick Stewart, Logan is coming to theaters on March 3, 2017. Directed by James Mangold and scripted by David James Kelly, the new film will mark the ninth time that Jackman has played the Marvel Comics character on the big screen.
Mister Sinister and his “Essex Corp” were previously said to be the villain(s) of the film, with rumors pointing toward Richard E. Grant playing the classic X-Men villain (although this remains unconfirmed at the moment). We know that the primary villains for the film will include both the Reaver gang, lead by Boyd Holbrook’s Donald Pierce, as well as Wolverine’s favorite group, Weapon X.
