The Greatest Showman on Earth, scripted by Sex in the City writer Jenny Bicks, offers a musical take on the life of P.T. Barnum, specifically focusing on the creation of his three-ring circus and his infatuation with “Swedish Nightingale” Jenny Lind.
Zac Efron starred opposite Robert De Niro earlier this year in the R-rated Paramount Pictures comedy Bad Grandpa. He followed that by reprising his Neighbors role opposite Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne and Chloë Grace Moretz in Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising. He’ll be back on the big screen next month, too, for the 20th Century Fox comedy Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates. He has yet another R-rated comedy on the way in 2017, too. Catch him opposite Dwayne Johnson, Alexandra Daddario, Priyanka Chopra, Jon Bass, Kelly Rohrbach and Ilfenesh Hadera in May 19th’s Baywatch.
