Marvel announces The Ultimate Captain America Marathon this Thursday
If you’re feeling adventurous this Thursday, and have plenty of free time, Marvel Studios has announced “The Ultimate Captain America Marathon” set to take place in select movie theaters across the country. A condensed version of last year’s “Ultimate Marvel Marathon,” the Ultimate Captain America Marathon will begin with Captain America: The First Avenger, is followed by The Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Avengers: Age of Ultron, and concludes with the premiere of Captain America: Civil War.
Those that attend the event will get an exclusie medallion and a limited edition copy of the first issue of the “Marvel: Avengers Alliance” comic series! You can pre-order your own tickets for the event by clicking here.
Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo from a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely, Captain America: Civil War will debut in theaters on May 6, 2016.
