New Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 logo revealed
Production officially began on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 today in Atlanta, Georgia, and to mark the occasion, director James Gunn offered up a first look at the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 logo from the set!
“To quote the great poet David Coverdale, Here I Go Again,” he writes. Check it out in the gallery below and check back here as Gunn revealed just yesterday that a full announcement on the sequel’s cast is set to be revealed next week!
The confirmed Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 cast includes Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, and Bradley Cooper, all returning as a band of unlikely heroes who must team up in order to defeat a cosmic force of epic proportions. In addition, Michael Rooker and Karen Gillan will return as Yondu and Nebula, with Pom Klementieff reportedly playing Mantis and Kurt Russell in talks to play Star-Lord’s mysterious father.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will open in theaters on May 5, 2017.
