Back in August, Groot himself Vin Diesel made a brief tease on his Facebook page referencing that Marvel thought he was “Inhuman,” leading many to believe that the actor might be making his way into another Marvel franchise down the road. Since then, Marvel finally gave Inhumans a release date of November 2, 2018, and now Vin is back with another tease, albeit one that’s a little more on the nose.
Vin posted the image below (via /Film) without comment, though the logo on his shirt is for the film and the “Are You Inhuman?” text behind him was previously used in an ad campaign for Marvel Comics’ “Inhumanity.” It’s entirely possible for Diesel to appear in Inhumans given only his voice was used for Guardians of the Galaxy, and as we learned on the set of that film last year, Diesel was openly discussing his involvement in the movie despite not having officially signed on. Would you like to see Diesel take on a second Marvel role in Inhumans? Let us know in the comments!
Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and introduced in the pages of “Fantastic Four” #45 back in 1965, The Inhumans were regulars in that series for decades before being given a high-profile mini-series in the late ’90s and they’ve been very active in the Marvel Universe ever since. Given their powers by the Terrigen Mists, the powerful Inhumans have a wide array of powers ranging from the life like and constrictive hair of Medusa to the destruction causing voice of their king Black Bolt.
