Goremaster H.G. Lewis stars in the deranged Terror Toons 3
If director Joe Castro’s microbudget exploitation romps Terror Toons and Terror Toons 2 left you slobbering for more, never fear! Castro is at it again with Terror Toons 3, the latest entry in the cheap and cheery series that commands a pretty faithful fanbase.
Terror Toons 3 stars none other than H.G. Lewis himself, the Godfather of Gore who pioneered the American low-budget splatter film with movies like Blood Feast, Two Thousand Maniacs, The Wizard of Gore and The Gruesome Twosome. Castro “studied” under Lewis. We’re not sure what that means exactly, but there you have it…
Here’s the official synopsis:
Two sisters, Cindy (Beverly Lynne) and Candy (Lizzy Bordon) fight to save the world from destruction by the hands of the insane Dr. Carnage and his henchman, Max Assassin, once again! Meanwhile, corrupt, homicidal cops unjustly serve some law to a group of young teenagers as they fight for their lives in this twisted, gory story. With so many twists and turns, that only Castro can direct, this story is truly wild and completely unpredictable, bizarre, horrifying, and blood-soaked on an entirely new level.
Also starring in this ludicrous flick are ’80s cult film actress Brinke Stevens (Teenage Exorcist, Trophy Heads) and Big Ass Spider! director Mike Mendez.
