Far Cry 5 teaser trailer: Welcome to Hope County, Montana!
Following a reveal that the game in fact exists last week, Ubisoft has debuted a teaser trailer for the upcoming Far Cry 5 revealing the game’s quaint setting of the fictional Hope County, Montana. You can check out the Far Cry 5 teaser below and tune in here on Friday for the full reveal trailer!
Based on the trailer, it appears the game will have a modern setting in a rather different locale from the previous games, which have ranged from the tropical Micronesia to the savanna of Africa plus the mountains of the Himalayas and even pre-historic times.
The most recent entry in the over-the-top action series was Far Cry Primal, which debuted in 2016; however, the last numbered game in the series was Far Cry 4 which arrived back in 2014. Far Cry 4 remains the highest-selling entry in the series with over ten million units sold worldwide.
