Straight from The Minds Behind EA’s Star Wars Games panel at Star Wars Celebration come some brand-new trailers and details on Star Wars video games. Check them all out below!
The first update is the Star Wars Battlefront Death Star trailer. Coming in September, Season Pass holders will receive the third digital expansion pack featuring new maps – on ground and in space – new weapons and star cards and two new heroes, including the bounty hunter Bossk and everyone’s favorite Wookie, Chewbacca. Star Wars Battlefront is available now on PS4, PC and Xbox One. Purchase the Season Pass and get two week early access to a fully operational Death Star digital expansion.
DICE also confirmed that the fourth Battlefront expansion will be related to the upcoming Rogue One film and is titled Rogue One: Scarif, allowing games to play as Jyn Erso and Dir. Orson Krennic
Next is the latest add ons to the mobile title Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, the Tank Takedown Raid. This raid will set you against General Grievous, his troop of battle droids, and the AAT itself. If you can defeat them, you’ll earn powerful new rewards, such as raid exclusive Mods.
The team at BioWare revealed a five-year celebration trailer for their Star Wars: The Old Republic game and offered a tease for their next expansion pack, Knights of the Eternal Throne, which is due out this fall.
Amy Hennig (“Uncharted” series) also offered an update on the mysterious Visceral Games Star Wars title, revealing that the game won’t officially be released until 2018 and that a title for the game hasn’t been settled on.
