If you’re a true blue movie fanatic, then after a while you start to make connections between films the way a conspiracy nut will uncover “new information” about UFOs or the Kennedy assassination. While this game of “connect-the-dots” often leads to conclusions that are widely off-base, there are some aspects of certain films that literally predicted and/or inspired future movies.
Whether it’s an actor saying a line that morphs into a multi-film franchise or a director dropping a reference to a movie they wind up remaking later, there are a ton of fascinating links we’ve uncovered in the thirteen films on our list of “Movies That Predicted Other Movies.” Filmmakers like Steven Spielberg, J.J.
